Hey, I’m Ruben
We all face questions, decisions, and problems. At work, at home, and in how we spend our time and attention. And more often than we’d like, we make things more complicated than they need to be.
That’s what my work is about: the ordinary things that have a real impact on our lives. Thinking more clearly. Creating a sense of order. Making knowledge easier to retain and use. And being more intentional about how we work and live.

Understand what’s going on. Figure out what’s needed. Then solve it.
Not every problem needs more.
Sometimes, the answer is simply to look at things differently, connect the dots, and find a new perspective.
I enjoy getting to the heart of complex problems. Understanding what’s really going on, what’s getting in the way, and where there’s an opportunity to make things better.

About Me
I help people make sense of problems and find practical ways to solve them.
That may sound simple, but problems are rarely that straightforward. Sometimes the right information is missing. Sometimes something has been made unnecessarily complicated. Sometimes there are so many options that it becomes difficult to see what the right choice actually is. And sometimes we keep looking for a solution while the real problem lies somewhere else.
That’s what interests me.
For more than 15 years, I’ve worked with complex problems where information, people, processes, and systems come together. Over time, that experience has shaped the way I look at everyday challenges: understand what’s really going on, identify what’s getting in the way, and find a practical way forward.
That approach is at the heart of what I do today.
I turn the things I learn into practical ideas, tools, guides, and products that help people deal with real problems in a simpler and more thoughtful way. Sometimes that means creating more clarity. Sometimes it means changing the way you approach a problem. And sometimes the best solution is simply to stop doing something that isn’t helping.
I’m less interested in adding more complexity than I am in finding what actually works.
A good solution often starts with taking a closer look. What’s really going on? Where is the confusion? What’s making things harder than they need to be? And most importantly: what could be simpler?
That’s how I approach problems, and how I create the things I share.
